Jazz with a Latin Flare - Peace Memorial Concert Series

WHEN:  SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 10 at 3 PM

WHAT: JAZZ WITH A LATIN FLARE Tampa Bay award winning jazz trio La Lucha will be joined by other jazz greats to get you dancing with their Latin jazz themed program.  They will delight you with exciting jazzy renditions of “My Little Suede Shoes”, “A Felicidade”, “Mambo Influenciado” and many more. The great acoustics and lovely setting of the Peace Memorial Church sanctuary will enhance your enjoyment.

WHO: LA LUCHA JAZZ TRIO AND FRIENDS

Several times awarded Creative Loafing’s “Best of the Bay Jazz Ensemble”, La Lucha is a Tampa Bay based trio consisting of three friends from different parts of the world; Colombia, Mexico & USA with Alejandro Arenas on bass; John O’Leary on piano and Mark Feinman on drums.  They will be joined by talented friends James Suggs on trumpet and Patrick Hernly on percussion.

WHERE: Peace Memorial Presb. Church (the pink church downtown) 110 S. Ft. Harrison Ave., Clwr. (corner of Pierce and Ft. Harrison).

CHARGE:  No tickets needed.  Seating is first come, first served.  An offering to help defray future performance costs is respectfully requested but not required ($5-$10 minimum suggested). Doors open at 2:30.

Location

Parking is available in four main areas: west and behind the church off Pierce (with handicap spaces and ramp access), directly east across Ft. Harrison in a large County lot, north of the church fellowship hall, and west in the Old City Hall and CMA lots. During peak times, it's recommended to use Myrtle Avenue for access via Pierce or Park Streets.
