Clearwater CRA Expands Business Spotlight Program to New Districts

The Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) announces the launch of the Business Spotlight Program— an expanded campaign to highlight the small businesses that contribute to the growth, identity, and vibrancy of Clearwater’s CRA districts.

Now in its second year, the program includes both Downtown Clearwater and North Greenwood, and will feature a total of nine local businesses throughout the year.

This phase also introduces a new tier — the Legacy Spotlight, which honors businesses with 10 or more years of service in the community. These long-standing businesses have helped shape the area’s culture and will receive enhanced recognition through the program.

Spotlight Categories

Each selected business will be recognized in one of the following categories:

  • Downtown Clearwater Spotlight: Businesses located within the Downtown CRA district 

  • North Greenwood Spotlight: Businesses located within the North Greenwood CRA district

  • Legacy Spotlight: Businesses with 10 or more years of service in either CRA district

     

What Selected Businesses Receive

Participating businesses will be featured through:

  • A professionally produced video spotlight

  • A custom-designed promotional flyer

  • Promotion across CRA platforms, including the website, newsletters, and social media

The program is designed to support visibility, build community connections, and promote continued economic growth in Clearwater’s redevelopment areas.
