The North Greenwood CRA Commercial Improvement Grant Program continues to support local investment and revitalization throughout the district. One recent success story is Clearwater Brewing Company, located at 1700 N. Fort Harrison Ave.
Owners Hannah and Rob Menard purchased the property with a vision of creating a welcoming destination where residents and visitors could gather, connect, and enjoy the community. Through the North Greenwood CRA Commercial Improvement Grant Program, they were able to complete a variety of improvements that helped bring that vision to life.
Grant funding supported roof repairs, exterior and interior enhancements, lighting upgrades, landscaping, pedestrian amenities, shade structures, and family-friendly outdoor improvements. These enhancements helped transform the property into a vibrant community gathering place while supporting continued investment within North Greenwood.
"We get to use this place to kind of be a community hub where people get to come and gather," said Hannah Menard. "It was amazing how much the grant program helped us cover things we wanted to do."
Today, Clearwater Brewing Company serves as a gathering place for families, friends, and neighbors while contributing to the continued revitalization of the North Greenwood community. The improvements have helped create an environment where residents can connect and community pride can grow.
