Art Oasis Mural Festival
A Celebration of Creativity in Clearwater
In March 2024, Clearwater welcomed its first-ever mural festival, the Art Oasis Mural Festival, held in the Downtown Clearwater and Gateway neighborhoods. The festival was made possible by the collaboration of the Clearwater Arts & Cultural Affairs Department and the Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), with a funding allocation of $90,000 approved by the CRA to cover materials, wall priming, and artist fees.
The festival showcased an array of stunning murals created by renowned local and international artists, transforming the city into a vibrant outdoor gallery. Eight local businesses donated their walls, adding colorful artwork to the community. With plans to make the Art Oasis an annual event, the festival aims to inspire more neighborhoods to participate in future years.
