Grad Chalk Walk
Grad Chalk Walk 2025 was a Downtown Activation Initiative led by the Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency, with funding provided by the Downtown Development Board. The public art installation celebrated the graduating Class of 2025 with large-scale, custom chalk murals representing each local high school holding ceremonies at The BayCare Sound.
The initiative transformed the 400–500 blocks of Cleveland Street in Downtown Clearwater into a vibrant walkable tribute to student achievement, school pride, and community spirit.
Meet the Artist
14 unique chalk art murals were installed along Cleveland Street by seven professional artists, including two interactive 3D murals placed at each end of the mural strip. Each artist brought their own style to the Grad Chalk Walk 2025 Downtown Activation Initiative, helping highlight the schools and students graduating from The BayCare Sound.
