Clearwater Gardens is a housing development project that aims to bring high-quality, affordable housing to Clearwater. This four-story midrise apartment building will feature:

• 52 one-bedroom/one-bath units
• 8 two-bedroom/one-bath units
• 21 two-bedroom/two-bath units

Unit sizes will range from 605 to 929 square feet, serving households with incomes between 30% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI). Upon completion, the building will achieve National Green Building Standard certification, ensuring sustainable design and construction. The project is made possible through funding contributions from:

• The Clearwater Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA), providing a $3M deferred loan at 0% interest and a $1.35M Purchase Money Mortgage.
• City of Clearwater SHIP and HOME loans, administered by the Economic Development and Housing Department.

Total CRA Investment: $4.35M
